frequently asked questions

Why is a Cook–in–Cozy™ recommended?

We recommend that all of our hot meals spend time "steep-cooking" while snuggled in a Cook-in-Cozy. We find this method promotes a more consistent temperature and steady cook time for Cook-in-Bag preparation; and results in a better serving temperature for your meal. When not in use, our Cook-in-Cozy folds away nicely in your pack for storage and weighs in at only 1.4oz.

Most Ramen noodles just come with...well noodle and the flavoring, which is all well and good if you just want to eat noodle w/flavoring. Well, I wanted more than that, and Packit Gourmet came to the rescue. This add-in pack puts in what I was missing from the boring ramen packs. This adds so much flavor and of coarse food to your meal, I buy extra for just at home and work. Thanks Packit!

As a ramen booster, not bad! However, I recommend less water than specified on the meal package , or bringing an extra spice packet. The recommended amount of water makes the overall taste profile quite diluted. Additionally, there was hardly any chicken included. The vegetables hydrated very well and were tasty.

Such a rip off. There is nothing special about this bland seasoning and few vegetables and chicken I got in my package. AND you have to byo-noodles?! You're better off with top-ramen. Hard pass.

I can only give a 1 fork (star) review based on the ridiculously small amount of food for the price. Everything else I ordered from was 5 star. I was terribly disappointed in this product strictly based on the amount that's provided. It's not worth the price.

Hide them from your kids! I have to keep these hidden from the family so they don't use them up at home when I am not looking. They really take Ramen to the next level. My brother in law eats it twice a day when we go out on trail.

My brother in law eats it twice a day when we go out on trail.

    frequently asked questions

    Why is a Cook–in–Cozy™ recommended?

We recommend that all of our hot meals spend time "steep-cooking" while snuggled in a Cook-in-Cozy. We find this method promotes a more consistent temperature and steady cook time for Cook-in-Bag preparation; and results in a better serving temperature for your meal. When not in use, our Cook-in-Cozy folds away nicely in your pack for storage and weighs in at only 1.4oz.

After a long day of hiking in the cool weather, this was a perfect meal to warm me up. Not just Ramen, but Ramen with veggies and some chicken! Warmed me right up!

My husband and I split this … really didn’t do much for our ramen noodles.
