Cooking instructions

REMOVE

oxygen absorber from main pouch.

PLACE the steamer base in your pot. 

ADD
1/4 cup (2 oz / 60 ml) of cool water to the main pouch and whisk to blend. Watch those corners! Then add water to your pot - just enough to cover the steamer base.
DIVIDE
batter evenly between 4 silicone baking cups. Place cups so that they are level on the steamer base within the pot. Place your pot over heat.
HEAT
the water quickly to a boil, then immediately add the lid (ensure all vents/holes are closed) and reduce to a simmer.
STEAM-BAKE
with the lid closed for 12 minutes - no peaking! Then, turn off heat and allow the cakes to rest undisturbed for 5 minutes before opening the lid. Carefully lift cakes from pot.
