Caught a few Brook Trout last week up the Colorado Mountains while hiking. Pan fried them and had this Pico stuffed in the insides, cooked up a beautiful meal and the flavor was extraordinary!

Absolutely amazing! Fantastic when added to a breakfast burrito or to the big un burrito. My son ate the rest with a spoon

It was a good tasty treat and rehydrated well. My son and I thought the lime flavor was just a bit to overpowering. I like lime, but this was a bit too much.

Loved that it had a kick! We enjoy a little heat and this delivered! Enjoyed it on a day hike around the lake.

This was a HUGE hit with my adopted sailor (and friends) who are currently deployed - nice to be able to send her a tasty treat that was truly enjoyed! And easy to make : ) Sent with a bag of scoop Fritos and a paper bowl - yup, it was a life is good moment for them all.

Awesome stuff!!! It was a hit on the trail!! Bring one for each person, they won't want to share!!!! 5 forks here!

We thought this salsa was very fresh-tasting and the consistency was just right. It did, however, have a very powerful lime taste to it, which was a little overpowering for us.

Ok, so this item isn’t so much a meal as it is a condiment. But our panel found it so tasty, we thought it was a worthy inclusion for giving other lunch foods a fresh flavor boost—including some on this list! With just a little water, this gluten-free blend of tomatoes, green peppers, onions, jalapenos, cilantro and lime rehydrates into a zesty, chunky salsa you’d think you bought in a fresh foods deli. Some of our team’s favorite lunchtime applications included adding to wraps, either meat or cheese, or just spreading on crackers. You can also use as a garnish to spice up dinnertime meals. Spread some on your salmon, mix into bland rice dishes, or add to bean burritos.

Fresh salsa on a multiday trip? Believe it. A quick cold-water soak hydrates the chunky, cilantro-and-lime spiced Pico de Gallo Salsa. "It tastes like it's fresh, but this salsa is so much easier to carry than delicate tomatoes," says one tester who now carries it to spice up provisions on every weeklong outing.
