Surprisingly, this was great! It seems like a mixture of cheese and cheese spread with a strong cheddar flavor. We easily cut it with a plastic knife and spread on crackers for a midafternoon snack. Very compact also.
Yuk, this stuff is nasty.
I took a couple of these for lunch with smoked sausages on a three day section on the AT. Great taste, especially on top of a tall mountain. I will definately carry these on future trips.
Easily portable, shelf stable cheese that weighs next to nothing in my pack, and actually has lots of flavor. I have tried every flavor that Packit Gourmet carries- they are all great. Wow, who would have thought we could be eating cheese & crackers on a backpacking trip?!? REAL cheese!
