frequently asked questions

Why is a Cook–in–Cozy™ recommended?

We recommend that all of our hot meals spend time "steep-cooking" while snuggled in a Cook-in-Cozy. We find this method promotes a more consistent temperature and steady cook time for Cook-in-Bag preparation; and results in a better serving temperature for your meal. When not in use, our Cook-in-Cozy folds away nicely in your pack for storage and weighs in at only 1.4oz.

The pièce de résistance of the GP family! A mundane packet of store-bought noodles is elevated to an irresistible and scrumptious affair.

So I was a little hesitant about this. I was on a trip into the desert and it was going to be hot. I like Ramen but I don’t love Ramen so needless to say I ordered with concern. I loved it. I was crazy to be concerned. It was so good. Just right! Amazing as always! I used beef ramen and it was great but chicken would be great too. Definitely will order again!

I broke my spork and wondered how I was to eat my rescued Ramen. Remembered I also carried chopsticks with which to devour my noodles simmered in your packet of chicken, veggies and seasoning. What an end-of-day, tasty and filling trail meal.

This complementary meal was so delicious with my creamy Ramen! It was the best backpacking meal I've had so far. The chicken is actually flavorful and the spices in the mix are also a perfect addition to the Ramen. This will definitely be my new go-to meal in the backcountry.

I thought I would just try this out. I purchased the noodles along with the Rescue. It was really good. I know they are just ramen noodles, but adding the Rescue to the noodles made it more filling. I could have eaten two!

We LOVED Ramen Rescue on our recent backpacking trip in Lassen. Easy to cook and tasted great. I feel better about eating Ramen with the added nutrition from the chicken and veggies. Packit Gourmet could increase the the veggies and it would be even better. THANK YOU!!

THANK YOU!!
