    I was wondering what sort of sausage it is -- whether it is italian sausage or country (breakfast) sausage. After trying, I'd say the Freeze Dried Sausage Crumbles are seasoned more like a breakfast sausage than an Italian sausage. The seasoning is very mild so the sausage can easily be used in multiple types of meals. It can be tossed in eggs or a breakfast gravy or used in Italian dishes when seasoned with Italian spices.
