Mix, layer, repeat, eat. This dessert is as delicious as it is fun to make: Alternate spoonfuls of cold-water-prep pudding, drizzles of chocolate fudge frosting and sprinkles of sweet, croutonlike vanilla "toastees". The two-serving packet packet provides generous helpings - easily enough for four hikers after a satisfying dinner, say testers.

I thought this tasted good, but it's definitely more than 1 serving as it says on the package. I ate the whole thing and felt bad. I think just 1/4 or 1/3 of it would have been fine. Very sugary!

This was really good! It had multiple textures, which is nicer than just pudding texture. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I prepared it in a cup, rather than the pouch it comes in. Desserts tend to be messy, even with a long spoon.

We shared this dessert among 5 people which was plenty after a good dinner. One person in our group said they didn't really like Boston Cream pies but was interested in a taste. One taste? No way! He loved it!

This dessert is amazing! Tried it at the end of a 7 mile 3,700 ft elevation hike and boy did I need the calories. Taste is amazing, easy to prepare, but it is a two stage process. On a normal day I could have easily split it in two for sharing and still have been satisfied. Will definitely order again.

WOW, you did it again. This was an OUTSTANDING, dessert. I was sampling a few of the meal items and grab this one as a dessert, (freeze-dried ice cream was never an option, but great when visiting the Air and Space Museum when I was 10.) This dessert will exceed your expectation for freezed-dried backcountry desserts. Everything about it was GREAT!!
