Packit Gourmet carries a wide selection of backcountry food and gear, perfect for teaching scouts how to cook in the wilderness. Scouts can choose the foods that best fit their cooking skills and comfort level – from just-add-water meals to multi-step dishes to the ingredients needed to create their own backcountry creations.

All of the food items carried on our site are shelf stable (do not require refrigeration) making them perfect for any adventure!

How This Works

Once we’ve received your troop’s application, it will be sent to the Boy/Girl Scout Council for verification – this may take several days. After your troop has been verified as belonging to the council, we’ll set you up with a personalized discount code for your troop.

After you have your discount code, you can pass it out to all the members of your troop! It can be used multiple times by both scouts and their parents – for personal and troop outfitting. Use both meals and grocery items to meet badge and patch requirements or purchase supplies for everyday camping trips. Be sure to request a few Packit Postcards to hand out to troop members! This is a great way for scouts to tell their parents about the site and the postcards are easy to hold on to – so your scouts will have all of our contact information in one place. Tell them to note the troop discount code on the back, and they’re all set!

* If your troop signed up for the previous 10% discount, which did not require a form, the 10% discount will remain in place until we receive a copy of your Scout Partnership form. Once we receive your form we will increase your discount to the new 15% discount.
