In order to help make it easier to earn your badges and patches, we’ve put together a few suggestions on how to meet the requirements that are specific to cooking and eating in the outdoors – complete with worksheets so it’s easy to work step-by-step through all of the necessary steps!

Cooking Merit Badge The Cooking Merit Badge teaches food safety, nutritional guidelines, meal planning, and food preparation. Scouts are required to cook several meals at home, at camp and on the trail in order to understand the similarities and differences of cooking in each situation. A worksheet is available for download to help scouts meet all of the goals and fulfill all requirements of the Cooking Merit Badge.  |
