Sponsorship Profile – Team Jordan Romero
Packit Gourmet is sponsoring Jordan Romero – a 13 year old boy on a quest to climb the highest mountains on each continent (the seven summits of the world). He’s already succeeded in reaching the peak of five of the mountains – Mt. Everest is next! If he succeeds, he will be the youngest person in the world to have summited Mt. Everest.
Jordan is also working hard to teach kids about the importance of eating well and getting outdoors. In support of these goals Packit Gourmet will be providing all of the food for the trip for Jordan and his parents as they embark on their adventure!
About Jordan Romero
Jordan is climbing the 7 Summits to prove to himself he can reach this big goal he has set. He is climbing because he loves the mountains and he loves to travel and learn about people and kids around the World who are just like him.
A second passion of Jordan’s is teaching kids about exercise and making healthy food and drink choices. Jordan strives to inspire and teach kids how to have a healthy lifestyle. He wants to help Michelle Obama on her new Let’s Move campaign.

Last summer I started a project called the 7 Summits Youth Challenge. I’m getting kids outside and taking them on hikes to the highest peaks in our valley. We are going to finish this project in the summer 2010. Once I finish the 7 Summits, I’ll be on a quest to Highpoint the U.S. That is, climbing to the highest point in every state. I’ll have already climbed 4 of the hardest peaks and we’ll continue this project in the summer as well. |
