All orders are shipped directly from the Packit Gourmet warehouse in Austin, Texas.

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 2-3 days of placement.  You can easily track your order as it makes its way through the fulfillment and shipping process by logging in to your account and viewing "order status".   Once your order has shipped, your "order status" will provide the package tracking number and other shipment information.

Orders are processed and shipped Monday-Friday in the order received:  first-come/first-served!

Customers that require a specific "receive by" date must select express shipping to insure the order jumps to the head of the queue.

 As a courtesy to our customers, we do accept  requests to ship last minute orders "As Soon As Possible."  If you need your order shipped ASAP,  please let us know by selecting "ASAP shipping" as you check out.  We will do our best to accommodate your request, but there are no guarantees.

*Flat-Rate Ground Shipping is available only on packages shipping to destinations within the continental United States and does not apply to packages shipping to PO Boxes. If shipping to a PO Box, USPS shipping MUST be selected. When Flat-Rate Ground Shipping is selected, Packit Gourmet determines the most efficient shipping carrier for your order.  Authorized carriers include: UPS and the U.S. Postal Service (USPS).

**Packages shipping to PO Boxes and APO/FPO Address will be shipped via USPS. UPS will not deliver to the Post Office and your package will be returned to Packit Gourmet.

Express rates are automatically calculated at checkout. These are the realtime rates given by UPS so you'll always be getting the best rate possible.

If you're choosing to add the extra expense of express shipping, we know that every second matters. That's why all express orders are automatically moved to the head of the order queue and shipped out as quickly as possible. PO Box & General Delivery Shipments  

When shipping to a PO Box or to a Post Office (General Delivery), the order must be shipped via the United States Postal Office (USPS). UPS will not deliver to the post office and your package will be returned to Packit Gourmet.

This is not a standard offering but it is something that we do upon special request. We use USPS for all international orders - rates can be found in the chart above.

Since you will not be able to submit your order on the website, we will send you a PayPal money request in order for you to submit payment for your order.

Shipping Turnaround & Shipping Holidays

We ship each order in the order in which it is received and fill orders as quickly as possible. We ship out Monday-Friday and average a two-day turnaround. So if you place your order on a Tuesday it will likely ship on Thursday. If you place your order on Thursday it will likely ship on Monday.

As a courtesy to our customers, we do accept requests to ship last minute orders as quickly as possible. If you need your order shipped ASAP, please select ASAP shipping as you proceed through checkout. We will do our best to accommodate you, but there are no guarantees.

Sales Tax

• Packit Gourmet is located in Austin, Texas. We are required to charge all applicable state and local sales tax on orders shipped to Texas. Texas taxing authorities also require the taxable amount to include any shipping and handling charges. 
  • Texas Sales Tax: 6.25%
  • Austin Sales Tax: 8.25%

• Sales tax will not be charged on orders shipping to any destination outside of Texas.

• Gift Cards- No sales tax will be charged on gift card purchases. The appropriate sales tax will be charged on the purchase when the gift card is used.
