Monday through Thursday for express shipping.
We ship out packages Monday-Friday in the order received. Customers requiring faster service, must select express shipping.
As a courtesy to our customers, we do accept email requests to ship last minute orders as quickly as possible. If you need your order shipped ASAP, please send us an email and let us know (or simply hit reply once you receive your invoice and include your message there). We will do our best to accommodate you, but there are no guarantees.
When shipping to a PO Box or to a Post Office (General Delivery), customer's must select USPS shipping. UPS will not deliver to the post office and your package will be returned to Packit Gourmet.
Please note:
When standard shipping is selected, Packit Gourmet determines the most efficient
shipping carrier for your order. The carriers that may be used are:
U.S. Postal Service (USPS), UPS or FedEx. Shipping charges may be
subject to sales tax depending on the tax laws of the state the order
is being shipped to.
*The map above shows the estimated shipping time for UPS & FedEx Ground shipping. USPS states an average delivery time of 1-5 days. Standard tracking information is not available with USPS - you will receive an email confirmation of delivery but you will not be able to track your package's movement or estimated delivery time.

Appalachian Trail Delivery Schedule
We are more than happy to ship packages to you as you hike along the Appalachian Trail. Please view our delivery schedule to see a list of the towns that we ship to. If you would like to receive a shipment in a town that is not on our list, please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. 
International Shipping Rates
International orders are shipped via the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) and should arrive within 6-10 days of mailing. Packit Gourmet does not take responsibility for any additional customs or duties levied on your order once it arrives in your country.

*Orders shipping to Canada and Australia consisting of more than $500 in product must be considered on a case-by-case basis in order to determine shipping costs. Canadian and Australian orders over $500 will be charged the previous category's shipping rate ($169.75 and $279.75 respectively) and may be contacted by Packit Gourmet staff if shipping charges need to be adjusted.

This is not a standard offering but it is something that we do upon
special request. We use USPS for all international orders, which bases the
shipping rate on the size of the box. The shipping rates are as follows:

In order to help you plan your order, please use our Product
Catalog. Once you've decided what you would like to order, send us an email
at trailfood@packitgourmet.com and let us know your selection. We'll
let you know which box size fits your order and give you your total.
Since you will not be able to submit your order on the website, we will send you a PayPal money request in order for you to submit payment for your order.
Please
let us know about your experience! Since this offering is still in the
testing phase, your feedback is extremely valuable. If you have a great
experience, it is much more likely that international shipping to your country will
become a standard option on our website.
Shipping Time
We ship each order in the order in which it is received and fill orders as quickly as possible. We ship out Monday-Friday and average a two-day turnaround. So if you place your order on a Tuesday it will likely ship on Thursday. If you place your order on Thursday it will likely ship on Monday.
If you need your order by a certain date and you're worried that you might not get it in time, please send us an email or give us a call. If possible, we’ll move your order ahead in the queue so that it will ship as quickly as possible.

Sales Tax
- Packit Gourmet is located in Austin, Texas. We are required to charge all applicable state and local sales tax on orders shipped to Texas. Texas taxing authorities also require the taxable amount to include any shipping and handling charges. Sales tax will not be charged on orders shipping to any destination outside of Texas.
- Gift Cards- No sales tax will be charged on gift card purchases. The appropriate sales tax will be charged on the purchase when the gift card is used.
