Our Ultralight Cook-In-Cozies™ are designed for two-serving meals (large Cook-In-Bags™) but can be used with single serving meals. If used with a single serving meal, there will be some space remaining in the Cook-In-Cozy™ but this will not impact heat retention.

 

Usage:

  1. Fully open cozy to ensure that the gusset is expanded and the bag is stable
  2. Place your meal pouch inside the cozy
  3. Add water as directed by recipe
  4. Mix well with a long-handled utensil (can be stored in the cozy's front pouch)
  5. Seal meal pouch tightly
  6. Secure the cozy's velcro closure
  7. Sit cozy in an upright position or hang from a nearby branch nub
  8. Periodically give it a shake while you patiently wait for the meal to fully rehydrate
  9. Open the cook-in-bag and dig in!
