    I tried it at home with a commercial muffin mix. I was impressed. I was expecting something sorta mushy like a dumpling. Instead, the muffin was baked nicely and was done very quickly.

    This set up worked really well! I made my friend the Chocolate Molten Cakes for her birthday in camp and they were a hit. One word of advice...if you are in a very mousey area (eg. the Grand Canyon), then make sure to stow the silicone muffin cups in a rat sack even if they haven't been used yet. Apparently mice enjoy the texture of the silicone =)
