This knife may be small but it’s certainly not dainty. The 4 inch blade is razor sharp and made of rustproof stainless steel. We easily sliced through sausage links, veggies and citrus peels. The handle and sheath are constructed of a sturdy plastic and are colored bright red so it’s easy to find at the bottom of your pack or among the groundcover. We were also happy to find that the sheath fits snuggly over the blade so we didn’t have to worry about the knife accidentally cutting through the pack, or worse, our fingers. The only con is the handle, which measures 3.5 inches, making it a little short for large hands.
